We’re looking for a Programme Manager to ensure timely and successful execution of our oversight, remediation and continuous improvement programmes in India - aligned to the STF strategy and objectives.

Candidate Requirements
- Degree educated
- Minimum Management work experience - 5 years
- Project Management Experience
- Can speak and write English (B1 level min, B2 preferred)
- Proficiency in Telugu, Kanada, Bengali, Oriya an advantage
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email systems
- Proactive, can-do attitude
- Has experience in social compliance and/or auditing
- Work from home with occasional travels to work sites/meetings in India, Thailand, etc.
- Able to work across US and EU time zones
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely execution of STF Oversight Expansion to India.
- Lead workstreams assigned to support STF programme design and implementation.
Duties including:
- In collaboration with STF leadership team and alignment with STF overall direction, plan and implement STF programmes in India including
- Phase 1: Supply chain oversight in traceability and social compliance through STF assessment programmes
- Phase 2: Continuous improvement through remediation and capacity building programmes
- Support STF expansion through recruiting new members in India in both commercial and non-commercial sectors
- Engage stakeholders including members’ supply chains, governments, associations and others as needed
Other Duties
- Share best practices to other processes of STF
- Provide management and team with regular and timely updates and recommendation
- Perform other duties assigned by the STF management
Key Leadership Actions
Programme Strategy
- Design strategy of STF taking into account member needs and market conditions
- Develop main products to implement the agreed strategy of STF
- Incorporate key inputs from business, funders, NGOs and other key stakeholders in programme design
Programme Formulation
- Provide domain expertise to the Executive Director in drafting a programme road map and milestones
- Create frameworks for programme implementation
- Establish processes, protocols, guidance documents and tools
Project Management
- Drive programme implementation
- Manage resources and budget
- Monitor progress and evaluate performance
